GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: Required lab for students enrolled in TA 219: Beginning Technical Theatre. Lab MUST be taken concurrently with course.
TAUGHT: Winter, Sumer, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Technical Theatre Lab provides technical support for departmental theatrical productions.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Be able to use theatre construction, sound and lighting equipment to contribute to the mounting of high-quality productions. Gain an appreciation and understanding of behind-the-scenes work.
REQUIREMENTS: Class meets once weekly for two hours. Attendance is mandatory. Students should wear clothing suitable for technical assignments.
PREREQUISITES:
OTHER: TA 219L is mandatory for students enrolled in TA 219. Do not ask your instructor for permission to "work around" other classes, employment, etc., as it will not be granted.
