DESCRIPTION: A systems approach to the study of animal anatomy and physiology. Includes structure and function of the cell, skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive and reproductive systems. Practical applications of anatomy and physiology and their relation to diseases and disorders.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Understand and appreciate basic principles of anatomy and physiology of the animal body by an integrated systematic approach.
2. Understand and make management decisions concerning animal feeding, health care and husbandry.
3. Prepare for further study in animal science and veterinary medical science.
REQUIREMENTS: Lab required AS 321L - 2 hours per week.
