|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||1. Distinguish between various types of pack animals, looking at their health and soundness.
2. Identify and select proper horse packing equipment and camping techniques with regard to environmentally sound.
3. Demonstrate how to properly use various types of horse packing equipment, hitches, lashes and knots.
4. Demonstrate an acquired awareness of horse back country travel and camping techniques with regard to environmentally sound practices.
