DESCRIPTION: Selected experiments dealing with possible human impact on the ecosystems.
TAUGHT: Winter, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Sampling techniques, toxins and plant growth, erosion, species diversity, water quality and others based on season.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: To give students a view of some of the challenges of collecting and analyzing data dealing with environmental impact. This lab is designed to challenge the student to think about the implications of scientific data.
REQUIREMENTS: Weekly attendance at lab and in depth lab reports.
