| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Have an overview of graphic design history and contemporary professional practice and information design. -- Be introduced to the organization of complex information. -- Be introduced to the creative presentation of information in the form of charts, graphs, and comparative information. -- Have advanced experimentation in the hierarchal ordering of typographic and image information. -- Be introduced to web design software (Adobe GoLive). -- Be introduced to paper making issues including weights, coatings, recycling, etc. |
