| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | An expansion of figuritive sculpture with further development of modeling, casting, and assembling skills learned in beginning course for individual expression wtihin a chosen area. Will work in sculpting/ patina finish, casting methods, construction processes. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Develop a basic knowledge of the human skeleton and surface muscular systems. -- Develop skills in accurately portraying the human form from life and from casts. -- Begin to develop skills in interpretation and expression in sculpting the figure. -- Expand upon the technical vocabulary of sculpture armature construction, mould making, casting, patinas, etc. |
