|CONTENT AND TOPICS:||Lesson objectives, developing art curriculum and lesson plans, teaching methods, assessment strategies and understanding art content, classroom discipline, safety, materials management and program maintenance.|
|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||-- Write lesson objectives which describe how students will demonstrate learning.
-- Create meaningful art curriculum and lesson plans that demonstrate understanding of art content, teaching methods, and assessment strategies.
-- Teach effective lessons to peers.
-- Make interdisciplinary connections between art and other content areas.
-- Use a variety of assessment strategies.
-- Understand effective classroom management skills for art education including classroom discipline, materials management, safety, and program maintenance.
-- Create visual resources for the art classroom.
