| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Write lesson objectives which describe how students will demonstrate learning. -- Create meaningful art curriculum and lesson plans that demonstrate understanding of art content, teaching methods, and assessment strategies. -- Teach effective lessons to peers. -- Make interdisciplinary connections between art and other content areas. -- Use a variety of assessment strategies. -- Understand effective classroom management skills for art education including classroom discipline, materials management, safety, and program maintenance. -- Create visual resources for the art classroom. |
