DESCRIPTION: Advanced ceramic techniques with personal direction for portfolio development.
TAUGHT: Fall, Winter, and Summer
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Students will be able to perform studio skills including batch clay making, kiln firing; develop a personal direction with clay and ability to work independently. Projects will be self-directed with instructor critique and involvement.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: -- Develop a personal direction with clay.
-- Develop an ability to work and think independently.
-- Be able to complete ceramic process from start to finish.
-- Gain understanding of ceramic history and one's place in it.
