|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||-- Have an opportunity for in-depth study of historically significant typographers and typographic or design movements.
-- Explore principles and techniques of typeface design and manipulation.
-- Explore conceptual and experimental typography.
-- Have an introduction to letterpress printing.
-- Be introduced to typeface creation software formats and how they are used.
