DESCRIPTION: Exploration of digital media to produce narrative and conceptual illustrations.
TAUGHT: Winter
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Students will improve design skills, visual story telling skills, and image-creating techniques through portfolio building assignments using digital media.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: -- Be exposed to using the computer as a medium for illustration.
-- Make quality portfolio illustrations.
-- Gain an understanding of style and explore stylistic interpretations.
-- Develop a good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, etc.
-- Understand the contemporary uses of digital illustration and how it is impacting the illustration industry.
