| DESCRIPTION: | An introduction to the view camera and studio lighting. | ||

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Students will be introduced to the view camera through architechure and other appropriate subject matter. They will also be introduced to the controlled environment of the studio where they will learn fundamental principles of lighting different objects and materials. This course will prepare students for success in commercial photography and broaden their opportunities in Fine Art. Topics may include: view camera movements, natural light, and studio lighting for reflective, non-reflective, and transparent objects. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Gain a working knowledge of the view camera and studio lighting. -- Gain an academic knowledge of the view camera and studio lighting. -- Produce professional and well-presented images which illustrate their understanding of the view camera and studio lighting. |
