GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: Studies in portraiture that build on the basic concepts learned in Portraiture I.
TAUGHT: Summer
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Students will be given the opportunity to advance their skills in portrait photography. Topics include advanced studio lighting techniques, fashion, and an introduction to location/environmental portraiture.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: -- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of studio lighting for portraiture.
-- Gain a basic understanding of methods for lighting and posing people as related to fashion and location portraiture.
-- Produce technically sound and aesthetically pleasing portraits.
-- Produce a professional body of work demonstrating proficiency in studio, location, and fashion portraiture.
REQUIREMENTS:
PREREQUISITES: Acceptance into the Photography Associates Program.
