DESCRIPTION: Second semester of introduction to biology for majors and minors. Includes the study of the evolutionary history of biological diversity, plant form and function, animal form and function, and ecology.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Evolutionary history of biological diversity, plant form and function, animal form and function, ecology.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Provide students with an in depth background in basic biological principles, preparing them for advanced biology classes.
REQUIREMENTS: Grade is based on performance on 7 unit exams, lab reports and a lab midterm and a final.
PREREQUISITES: BIO 200 or BIO 208
