| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | To understand the strategic relationship supply chain management has on all aspects of an enterprise in promoting competitive advantage. To develop a recognition of the importance of customer and supplier collaboration in today's competitive business climate. Through case studies and field trips gain an understanding of real-world, world-class supply chaing implementations. To understand the global nature and interdependencies in managing a supply chain. To understand various strategic options that may be employed in managing a value chain. Through research and observation, recognize the role technology plays in facilitating the implementation of a world-class supply and value chain. |
