DESCRIPTION: Delta Epsilon Chi is a National Organization of students in the field of business with specific emphasis on the areas of marketing, management, merchandising, and entrepreneurship. This class will involve students learning skills in those areas with involvement in the business community. Leadership skills will be taught as well as opportunities to participate in state and national competitions.
TAUGHT: Winter, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Designed to allow students opportunities to develop professionalism in the field of Business by participating in symposiums, business lecture series, field trips, competitions, and leadership activities. May be part of a DEC Chapter.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Create business ethics that exemplify the teachings of Christ.
2. Cultivate leadership and communication skills that will provide a solid foundation for future responsibilities.
3. Provide each student with information and experience that will better prepare them for the constantly changing world of business.
4. Build lasting friendships and college memories through serving one another.
REQUIREMENTS: Magazine Articles, Book Reports, Study Skills Worksheet, Interview, Field Trip, Discovery Journals, Referrals, Service Hours.
