The BYU-Idaho Department of Art offers studies in the following areas: art history, drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, illustration, photography, and art education. These areas will provide the necessary knowledge and skills for students to successfully enter an art education career.

DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The BYU-Idaho Department of Art is committed to: 1) to provide a strong foundation in the visual arts through a programmed core of drawing, design, color, painting, and three-dimensional form and to 2) promote an appreciation of the visual arts on the BYU-Idaho campus and in the surrounding region.
