Welcome to BYU-Idaho's Department of Nursing. The Department of Nursing provides students with several program options such as the ASN Program, RN to BSN Program, Cluster courses for Non-Nursing Majors, and the Trans-cultural Programs to international locations.

ASN Program

The Department of nursing offers the student a two year program that has been designed to prepare the graduate to successfully complete the professional nurse board examination (NCLEX-RN).

There are four options available to the student:

RN to BSN Program

The Baccalaureate Completion Nursing Program at BYU-Idaho is designed for the individual with a current license as a Registered Nurse, and who desires to expand employment opportunities and enhance nursing knowledge. This nursing program can be completed in three full-time semesters. The RN to BSN program is offered on campus and/or distance education through Continuing Education. The RN to BSN student has the option to begin in either the fall, winter, or summer semester. Applications are accepted monthly but must indicate which semester the student desires to begin. See RN to BSN application for more details on the application process. Applications must be received before April 1, 2006 to be eligible to start summer semester which begins May 8, 2006.

Cluster Courses for Non-Nursing Majors
