| TOPICS: | Fundamentals of communicating through effective public speaking. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | To overcome apprehensions, select effective topics, organize a basic speech, and to present five-seven speeches; To also incorporate speaking dynamics such as pauses, enthusiasm, rate of speech, etc.; To develope effective introductions and conclusions to talks; And to evaluate the success of other's speeches. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Students are required to prepare and deliver speeches to audiences in public speaking settings (including Informative Speaking and Persuasive Speaking). Attendance and participation are part of the overall requirements. | ||
