| DESCRIPTION: |
Picks up where Chinese 101 leaves off. Completes a cursory view of basic Chinese grammar in a communicative setting. Cultivation of the four skills. |
| TOPICS: |
Vocabulary, grammar and functions are combined and employed as communication tools. Reading and writing of Chinese characters. |
| OBJECTIVES: |
Students will be able to function at the Novice High level in the four skills based on ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.

| REQUIREMENTS: |
Students will demonstrate their proficiency and skills on several quizzes and examinations. They will also show evidence of their preparation and proficiency in oral recitations and on writing assignments. |
| PREREQUISITES: |
Chinese 101 with a grade of "C" or better, three years high school Chinese, or consent of instructor. |
