GENERAL EDUCATION: This course fulfills a General Education - Basic Skills requirement.

CATALOG DESCRIPTION: To teach basic skills, fundamentals, and techniques of golf. Students will be required to pay green fees.
DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to teach the basic skills, fundamentals, and techniques required to play racquetball effectively to develop a sufficient level of physical fitness and skill level.
TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: 1. Develop sufficient skill for enjoyable golfing
2. Understand fundamentals, rules, and strategies of the game of golf.
3. Develop courtesy and self respect, and respect for others
4. Develop self-esteem and social interactions
5. Develop skills to teach rules, fundamentals, and strategies of golf
7. Ability to organize a tournament
REQUIREMENTS: 1. Exhibit knowledge of skills and techniques of golf
2. Turn in golf card to instuctor as explained at beginning of course
3. Pay green fees at golf course.
