| TOPICS: | Pre-baroque; Baroque, Classic, Romantic, 20th and 21st Centuries: the main musical forms and composers | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | To enable the students to recognize the styles of the main periods in music history and to be able to perform works from these eras more intelligently from an historical point of view. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Attendance at class is required, as well as at least ten concerts or recitals outside of class. | ||
| PREREQUISITES: | The students must be enrolled in one of the ensembles (choir, band, orchestra, etc) during the same semester this class is taken. | ||
