| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Basic speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills and knowledge of the grammar to enable the students to participate in an in-depth grammar review throughout the semester. Emphasis will also be placed on Russian word formation, including roots and prefixes. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -Increase the understanding of Russian grammar including declension of nouns and adjectives in all six cases. -Express self in writing in extended discourse about themes that are of interest. -Increase vocabulary by learning approximately 80-90 new roots as well as certain prefixes and suffixes. -Read unabridged literary passages in Russian. |
