| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Selected topics will vary and are chosen by the department to give students special insights and experiences in particular regions of the world. This course would be offered as a readings course with a teacher by independent study. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Use independent research to study in depth a topic or region not covered in the 341-350 series. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Teaching methods include lectures and readings. Tests will be used to assess student progress. Regular attendance is required. All faculty give assignments, but each determines his/her own combination of text assignments, projects, and tests. |
