| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Elements of a successful safety and health program. The role of regulatory agencies in occupational safety and risk management. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Students will: 1) demonstrate a knowledge of skills and safety practices used in the workplace and the environment in general, 2) develop, plan, and implement a wide range program of safety skills and health tasks for self and others in various occupations. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Take lecture notes, read all assigned chapters and take weekly chapter quizzes, participate in group activities/labs, write one original research paper on some phase of occupational safety and health, take pre-test and post test examination. | ||
