| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1. Gain an understanding of musical styles, movements, and trends of the 20th century. 2. Develop a knowledge of principal composers of the 20th century, their contributions, techniqeus, and styles. 3. Develop a basic knowledge of the music of principal world cultures and their contributions to and influences on the music of our culture. |
