| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | This class is designed to introduce the student to the sport of archery through hands-on application of using the bow and arrow through lecture, demonstration, and practice of archery skills. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | The student will: 1. Learn and exhibit knowledge of fundamentals, rules, and strategy of safe archery 2. Develop skill that can be used for a lifetime 3. Learn fundamentals and elementary skills of archery 4. Exhibit knowledge and skill of basic archery |

| REQUIREMENTS: | The student will: 1. Learn through guided and unstructured practice, observation, and explanation 2. Pass skill tests 3. Learn from one-on-one instruction 4. Students must purchase six arrows and a set of finger tabs; approximate cost per student is $30. Meet with instructor the first day of class before purchasing arrows. |
