| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Definitions, Biological Theories, Psychological Theories, Sociological Theories, Juvenile Correction, Justice System, Youth Cultures. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Know basic terms and definitions. Know history of Juvenile Correction System Know major theories or explanations including Biological, Psychological and Sociological. Apply theories. Learn about programs. Groups information on youth cultures. Experiences and interview guest speakers who work in the profession of juvenile corrections; including judge, probation officer, juvenile public defender. |

| REQUIREMENTS: | Group oral presentation, objective exams, writing assignments, apply theories, discussion and complete test on program definitions and principles, conduct the student presentation, take exam on principles about several youth culture. |
