| DESCRIPTION: | Visiting artists expose art majors to a variety of artists, media, and methods. | ||

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Artists from a cross section of the arts and from a variety of locations will present their work to the students during a forum setting. A visiting artist program designed to introduce students to a variety of artists from a variety of disciplines. Students will also learn the creative processes employed by these artists. Student are encouraged to interact with the artist during a question and answer session. Typically, four to six guest artists are invited each semester. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Be introduced to a variety of art disciplines. -- Be introduced to a variety of creative methods and techniques. -- Interact with guests to clarify and internalize the presentation material. |
