| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Drawing the human figure through studying artistic anatomy and drawing from live models. Anatomical accuracy and introduction to composition using the figure. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -- Draw the human figure. -- Demonstrate skill and sensitivity with basic figure composition. -- Be able to competently draw the human form in correct proportions and with an awareness of anatomical structures and with artist sensitivity. -- Learn "artistic anatomy", including bones, surface landmarks, muscles, and surface structures of the human form. -- Complete regular, outside-of-the-classroom figure drawings weekly. -- Complete final portfolio of life drawings. |
