| DESCRIPTION: | This class gives students experience in lesson preparation and teaching of general biology topics to non-majors biology students. Meeting times will be linked to designated sections of non-majors biology classes. This class is based on a mix of out of class preparation and student directed teaching experiences. | ||

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | To give biology education students opportunities to prepare material and teach others. This will help them understand better the teaching and learning process in preparation for student teaching and work as a secondary school teacher. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Satisfactory completion of teaching assignments. Out of class work will be required for this practicum. | ||
| PREREQUISITES: | Completion of all 200 level biology classes required for Biology Education Majors. | ||
