In April 2010, Sound Alliance enjoyed a successful tour of the Kansas City and Chicago areas with Vocal Union. Their tour in 2012 will bring them to Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic. Sound Alliance performed with saxophonist Eric Marienthal at BYUI Winter Jazz Festival in February and will perform with Conrad Herwig at the BYUI Summer Jazz Fest in July. Fall invites our Faculty Jazz Ensemble guest Corey Christiansen and Justin Nielsen to perform with our full and part-time faculty. In December Ed Calle joins Sound Alliance and Vocal Union with orchestra and choir for their annual Swingin’ Christmas concert. Auditions are held every semester for our ensembles and we encourage you to join us!
