Ensemble Audition Information (Vocal Union)

Auditions for the 2012 Winter Semester will be held January 3rd and 4th. Interested applicants should prepare a 60-90 second excerpt of a jazz standard that demonstrates their best range, performance, and vocal ability. Any attempts at "stylizing" the piece (scoops, slides, etc.) should demonstrate good musical taste.

Due to our planned tour to Puerto Rico/Dominican Republic in April 2012, all participants must be in good academic standing and adhere strictly to the honor code. Tour fees for the planned 2 week tour will not exceed $1,000.00. This includes all food, lodging, and airfare.
