BYU-Idaho Department of Nursing: Programs Offered
The Department of Nursing provides three main programs to assist students:
1. The ASN Program (Associate of Science in Nursing)
- Two year program
- You may start the program any semester
- At completion, eligible to take the (NCLEX-RN)
2. The RN to BSN Program (Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing)
- Designed for currently licensed RN's
- You may start the program any semester
- Courses enhance nursing knowledge
- Degree expands employment opportunities
- The program can be completed online, on-campus, or both
3. The Nursing Cluster for Non-nursing Majors
- Cluster is open to all students- no need to apply through the nursing department
- The three courses teach family nursing skills and women's health
- Each course is offered during 2 of the 3 semesters
