BYU-Idaho Pre-Pharmacy Society

As a society of BYU-Idaho, we are here to support the interest of pharmacy as a degree and a career. We aim to focus on 4 areas of pharmacy. The first is Pharmacy Education in which we will invite professors and deans from pharmacy schools to share their ideas and thoughts on the process of earning pharmacy degrees, and to focus on the application process and the PCAT. The second is Commercial Pharmacy in which we will invite and visit local pharmacists to learn about the retail aspect of pharmacy. The third is Clinical Pharmacy in which we will invite and visit hospital pharmacists and others that have more a direct relationship with healthcare providers. The fourth is Pharmacuetical Sciences in which we will try to invite those pharmacists that have chosen a path of manufacturing drugs rather than the distribution side of things.
